This toolkit outlines a framework for implementing trauma-informed, resilience-oriented approaches in any school or school district. It utilizes tools, videos, professional development slide decks, and concise instruction to explain the concepts of trauma and toxic stress; offers individual and school-wide strategies for addressing trauma and fostering resilience for students, staff, and families; and offers strategies to assess the impact of these adaptations throughout the school community.

This downloadable report leverages data from additional averted school violence cases since the 2019 Averted School Violence Database report to conduct similar analyses; compares the findings from the new cases to the initial 51 averted cases; and provides overarching lessons learned and recommendations that can be leveraged by school administrators, law enforcement, and communities to enhance school safety and security.

This training is a series of five interactive online modules that offer foundational learning on trauma-informed and victim-centered approaches to human trafficking. 

This video series includes information about sex and labor trafficking, multidisciplinary approaches to serving victims of human trafficking, effective victim services, victims' legal needs, and voices of survivors. It is intended to be used for outreach and education efforts of service providers, law enforcement, prosecutors, and others in the community. Included with the video series are an accompanying discussion guide, Fact Sheets, and posters that can be used to augment trainings and generate discussion.

These graphic novels are intended to teach child and youth victims of trafficking between the ages of 12−18 about how the justice system works, what their rights are, the roles of the different practitioners they might meet, and how they can cope with the difficult feelings they might have. Each graphic novel includes excerpts from individuals with lived experience, who offer support and information to the reader who might find themselves in a similar situation.
