State Department of Education

The Maine Department of Education's Office of School Facilities and Transportation works to ensure that all Maine students have access to healthy, safe, and educationally appropriate facilities.
School Preparedness
The Maine Emergency Management Agency houses school preparedness resources. School preparedness has two facets, emergency planning for the school site itself, and educating school staff and students about hazards and emergency planning.
