The Indiana Secured School Safety Grant provides matching grants to Indiana school districts across the state to address potential safety threats and help them prepare.

The Indiana School Safety Specialist Academy provides ongoing, certified training and information on national and state best practices, as well as exemplary resources for school safety, security, intervention/prevention, and emergency preparedness planning.

The Indiana State Police conduct training sessions throughout Indiana. Training sessions help schools and law enforcement agencies establish partnerships necessary for coordinating a unified and effective response to various incidents.

Indiana Secured School Safety Grant

The SSSG program is an allocated state fund that provides matching grants to school corporations, accredited non-public schools, charter schools and coalitions of school corporations. SSSG funds may be used to employ an SRO, conduct site vulnerability assessments, or purchase safety equipment/materials/technology.
