Originally started in 2009 as the Safety in our Schools Conference, the Georgia School Safety and Homeland Security Conference is now sponsored by the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) in partnership with the Georgia Department of Education. The conference has grown to a 3 day, 500+ participant premiere learning experience for the state’s education and public safety personnel.
